FAQ's

When will the Boycott end?

The Boycott aims to achieve two things:

1. Pressure the Israeli government (and those that give it mandate) to comply with International Law, particularly the Advisory opinion given by the International Court of Justice in 2004.

2. Pressure the Israeli government (and those that give it mandate) to facilitate resolution of the Israel/Palestine conflict.

What do you mean “facilitate resolution of the Israel/Palestine conflict”? Why does Israel have to do all the work?

Israel is purposefully preventing resolution of the conflict. Israel would facilitate resolution of the conflict if it would:

1. Withdraw its civilian population and military from the Occupied Palestinian territories to facilitate implementation of the two-state solution mandated by the International Community.

OR

2. Officially annex all the Occupied Territories and grant all citizen therein equal rights under law to facilitate implementation of the one-state solution as favoured by some commentators.

What if people use your Israeli Products list to purposefully purchase Israeli Products. Won't that counter the Boycott.

People will act with their own conscience, and they will have to live with the consequences of supporting a belligerent state. This campaign is direct at New Zealanders with conscience and concern about the deteriorating situation in the Middle East. Boycott can make a difference, but only when embraced as a popular movement.
